2/23/2010 I was on the Howard Stern Show. There are some legal and contractual issues that I do not understand that I believe will prohibit me from posting video of the appearance. Mark from http://www.marksfriggin.com/ writes summaries of the show every day. He has given me permission to post his summary of my appearance. A big thank you to Mark.

Oh, and to explain why I am Sussy, for those of you who don’t know me as Sussy. The first year I started working at Stern is the first year they instituted Secret Santa. I was new to the show and unknown. Baba Booey (Garry Del’Abate) picked my name on air for Secret Santa and asked, “Who the hell is this?” Artie Lange, quick of wit as always, chimed up, “Sussy, I know Sussy!”

It amuses me that Howard is often seen as this rebellious, crazy, unconventional dude because of the nature of the show. In reality, it is a totally conventional person in most ways, especially with regard to his workaholic nature.

Sussy – in the coming couple of months I’d like to maybe do a phone interview with you for a podcast. I run a couple of sites, and while I don’t have millions in readership I’d sure like to do it.

That appearance is what made me – as well as millions of other listeners – aware that Sussy was doing this. What an incredible opportunity for a great project to get a head start!!I’m sure that it’s because of the awesome concept that Howard allowed Sussy on the air to talk and plug his project.
This guy’s living a good life in NYC with plenty of career opportunities after Stern retires and he’s going on a mission to really change shit!!

  3. Good Luck Sussy!!! I have had people poke fun at my hobby too but keep trucking along and pay them no mind. I am enjoying the pictures from far away lands as long as you take them yourself. I just now listened to the episode you were on as I am 2 months behind in listening to my favorite shock jock. Keep going and don’t cut it short for nothing. I am now in my forties and wish I had the chance to go do this ride you are on. You will never forget it. Once again, good luck. -Bill
